An empty space is raw material.
About the brand
ARCOVA is a modern architectural studio that turns empty spaces into environments people want to live and work in. The brand had to hold creativity, function, precision and a contemporary point of view in the same frame.
The challenge, competing on sight in Dubai
The project started from zero. No mark, no visual language, no presence. Dubai holds one of the highest visual standards in the region for interiors and architecture, so a new studio is judged on its first impression, long before anyone reads a proposal.
The brief was to build an identity that would not look like a decoration company. It had to read as a complete architecture and interior design studio from the first touchpoint.
One line that sets the direction
Everything in the identity was built around the positioning line. It states what the studio does and what the client is buying.
The ability to reshape a space and turn it into a considered environment, planned around how the client actually uses it.
Giving each space its own character, so the design is not only a pleasant surface but a style that reflects the place and the people inside it.
A mark built like a plan, not drawn like a decoration
The mark is geometric and architectural. It takes its language from structural lines, sharp angles, and the space held between them. The construction reads as the letter A, the first letter of ARCOVA, and the olive volume inside it sits like a filled mass on a drawing.
The angles give the mark movement and direction. The open counters carry the meaning: space is the material the studio works with, so the empty part of the mark is doing as much work as the drawn part.
Three colours, one temperature
Black and off white give the identity its architectural base. Olive green is the note that makes it ARCOVA and not another black and white studio.
- Architectural black
- Authority, professionalism, precision. Carries the premium end of the brand.
- Off white
- Space, calm and clarity. The ground that lets the work breathe.
- Olive green
- Warmth, materials and character. Ties the brand to natural finishes.
- Warm taupe
- Support tone taken from the material world of the projects, wood and stone.
A system, not a logo file
ARCOVA was given a full visual system so the brand holds together on a business card, on a wall, in a proposal and in a feed, without anyone having to invent a rule on the spot.
How the brand lives in the real world
The identity was applied across the touchpoints a design studio actually meets its clients on, including a lit wall sign inside an architectural setting, so the brand could be judged in context rather than on a white sheet.
The feed as a second portfolio
Once the identity was set, the visual language moved to social. The content system was built so the Instagram profile works as a portfolio in its own right, organised around five recurring pillars.
Full spaces presented in a cinematic, premium cut.
Materials, lighting and the small architectural moments.
The studio point of view on how a space should work.
Designed messages and lines tied to space and style.
The project from site to result, proof of execution.
A single image direction runs across every project so the feed reads as one body of work, even when the spaces have nothing in common. The logo sits inside the designs quietly, present without competing with the room. Each post is designed to hold on its own and to work as one tile of the full grid.
Website direction, projects as the main character
The site direction keeps the interface quiet: large project imagery, wide white space, clean typography and simple navigation, so nothing on the page competes with the work.
